Gemocha, the offspring of You Bet Shez Stylish (Rylea) x Arc'o Really Dun It (Artie) was the first Baby from our breeding program. She is the friendliest mule we have ever come by way of and is already proving her good genetics in the show ring with wins in Western Performance Green Mule and Trail Green mule in her first year showing. As a yearling, she won Grand Champion Halter Mule against some twenty plus mature mules, which is typically unprecedented in the show world. She is a great walking billboard for our program as we have often heard, “she is the prettiest mule I have ever seen”. That is why she is on the cover of our website. She comes by this position honestly...beautiful inside and out!

Gem’s Triumphant King (Palmer) is the offspring of You Bet Shez Stylish (Rylea) x Colonel, Horseshoe Hill and was born on Palm Sunday and on the birthday of the late great, Arnold Palmer.
He is a 15 hand, Palomino roan John mule. He has an exceptional hip, fearless personality and loves people.
His new owners are involved in the Back Country Horseman’s Club and avid hunters and trail riders.
He is still young, but transitioning him from ground work to saddle training has been seamless with his accommodating, friendly personalities. Definitely a rock star and the 4th baby from our breeding program.

He has proven to be conformationally correct, winning Grand Champion Halter Gelding in his first show as a 3-year old, and will debut in barrel racing as a four year old. His Grand sire, Frenchmans Guy is a leading 13 million dollar plus earning sire, and has produced some of the fastest and winningest babies in Barrel Racing. He is exemplifying much of what it takes to follow in his sire and grand sire’s footsteps, which will further cement that his dam, Satin is a great addition to our breeding program.

She is cowy, can drop her head and dig in from the hindquarters, and exhibit natural and gliding flying lead changes when free running. This mix of athletic traits should prove to be a winning combination in a multitude of events and on the trail. Bling is the the granddaughter of well known reining champion, Kinda Dunkin Around, son of Poco Bueno, with lineage to Leo San, Page Impressive and Quincy Dan.

We chose ‘Onesy’ as we continue to witness the advancements in Jack breeding programs and Genesis Farms has a progressive, phenomenal one, which aligns with our mission of bringing superior, top notch, well-handled babies to the mule industry. Gem’s Walking by Faith (Faith), was just what her new owned, Darla Fletcher, Cocolalla, Idaho wished for. A stunning Dun molly with fancy leg barring, dorsal stripe, and a beautiful dished head. Her cow-bred, Foundation Quarter horse dam, put her stamp on Faith as she is very compliant, flexible, and accommodating. She has been a pleasure to work with, accepting all the paces we put our babies through in our unique training program, including clippers, backing out of the trailer, farrier and vet work, ponying and the like. Darla plans to have her trained under saddle as well as to pull a cart. It was a ‘Match made in Heaven’ as Faith already has bonded with Darla and together, they will be a beautiful team.

Gem State Mule Company announces the birth of ‘Gem's Firing on Design’ (Hamilton), born April 22nd. We are excited about this new colt, Hamilton, who is bred to be a champion! With Fire Water Flit on the dam side, and ‘Slick by Design’ as his sire, he certainly shows a great deal of early potential. ‘Slick By Design’ is a $15 million dollar who is the All Time Money Earning Stallion (2022 stat). He currently holds the arena record at the National Finals Rodeo for the fastest stallion barrel racing time. ‘Fire Water Flit’ has sired more champions in every division, than any other stallion. This included Barrels, Team Roping, Calf Roping progeny earnings. Hamilton is a well-muscled, palomino and will be our up-and-coming barrel racing prospect for granddaughter Reagan.

This sorrel with chrome, John mule is out of ‘Ima Serious Kid, (Charlotte) daughter of Multiple World Champion ‘Kids Classic Style’ by ‘Kid Clu’ and sired by carefully selected ‘Desert Full Metal Jacket’, (Bullet). Bullet is owned by Genesis Farms who have a premiere, well recognized exceptional Jack breeding program. Both dam and sire have extraordinary records in the show ring which we have found in our breeding program, translates into exceptional, levelheaded, intelligent, versatile mules on the trails and in the arena. Gem's Dandy (Gem) was born April 14th and was the second of our three quality bred mules to be born in 2020. With her exceptional reining genetics, he should be a talented performance and reining mule. He is a fancy smutty buckskin and his new owner, Misty Moore, NV, purchased in utero a year before he was born as she was looking for a fancy reining and show mule. Expect Satin’s 2024 baby to look much the same as we bred her to the same jack!

Gem's 'Gem’s One More Mile (Magnus) was purchased in utero by Hannah Kimball. He is a creamy (thank you Rylea-a Cremello) leggy, palomino John mule. He is our biggest baby yet, weighing 110 lbs when born! The ‘One’ in the name is an ode to his jack sire, Genesis 1.0 (Onesey). Onesey has gained National attention in his short life with recent Fall ‘23 accomplishments as ‘Champion Model Donkey’ at both the North and South Carolina State Fairs. He has successfully competed in dressage, jumping, gaming and more! On the dam side, ‘You Bet Shez Stylish’ (Rylea) continues to be our most popular mare for in utero contracts as she predictably gives us pretty headed, good minded, athletic babies. Her babies are also proven in the show ring and on the trails, including Gemocha, Palmer & Eva. We are excited to see Hannah aspire to achieve her goals in jumping, performance, and more with this stunning baby.

Boone is sired by 4-Time World Champion Arc’o Really Dun It (Artie), a versatile and talented jack who has produced other phenomenal babies in our breeding program. Boone has a bright future ahead with new owners, Douglas and Hunter Joppa. Hunter has been a lifetime equine enthusiast and has shown and qualified at AQHA World Shows. She owns a company called Montana Tines Mohair which was started when she lost her beloved mule, Buddy, full brother to Boone. We are excited about this ‘perfect match’.
