Gemocha, the offspring of You Bet Shez Stylish (Rylea) x Arc'o Really Dun It (Artie) was the first Baby from our breeding program. She is the friendliest mule we have ever come by way of and is already proving her good genetics in the show ring with wins in Western Performance Green Mule and Trail Green mule in her first year showing. As a yearling, she won Grand Champion Halter Mule against some twenty plus mature mules, which is typically unprecedented in the show world. She is a great walking billboard for our program as we have often heard, “she is the prettiest mule I have ever seen”. That is why she is on the cover of our website. She comes by this position honestly...beautiful inside and out!

Dashin For Honor’ (Serenity) is sired by the legendary STREAK OF FLING.
Streak of Fling (Sired by Steakin Six) has a pedigree woven with some of the greatest speed horses that the AQHA Racing industry has seen. Streak of Fling is the #1 Leading living sire with over 9 million in progeny earnings. He is the #5 All Time Futurity sire and the leading sire in the 2023 Breeders Challenge. Streak of Fling is a multi-Rodeo event sire of champion roping, break away and barrel racing horses. The influence of his breeding has been one of the biggest impacts which is set to create a barrel racing dynasty.
On her dam side, she boasts ‘Dash for Perks’ which is sired by ‘Dash for Cash’ (AQHA Hall of Fame- known for Racing, with babies in cutting and even an AQHA Champion) another legendary barrel racing Stallion. ‘Dash for Perks’ was a cornerstone in the barrel racing industry for many years, siring top horses including Lady Perks, Winning Perks (race sire over 2 mil and barrel race of 1.6 mil), and Fancy Man Perks. Serenity is bred for heading, heeling, team roping, and working cow horse.

Gem State Mule Company announces the birth of ‘Gem's Firing on Design’ (Hamilton), born June 2nd. We are excited about this new colt, Hamilton, who is bred to be a champion! With Fire Water Flit on the dam side, and ‘Slick by Design’ as his sire, he certainly shows a great deal of early potential. ‘Slick By Design’ is a $20 million dollar stallion who is the All-Time Money Earning Stallion (2022 stat). He currently holds the arena record at the National Finals Rodeo for the fastest stallion barrel racing time. ‘Fire Water Flit’ has sired more champions in every division, than any other stallion. This included Barrels, Team Roping, Calf Roping progeny earnings. Hamilton is a well-muscled, palomino and will be our up-and-coming barrel racing prospect for granddaughter Reagan.

Gem’s Lucy is sired by the late great Horseshoe Hill Colonel and out of an Appaloosa mare, Princess Dun Plaudit. We purchased her in 2021 as a Gaming prospect. She has turned out to be so much more! In the time since we have owned her, we have introduced her to pattern racing, Ranch Riding, Showmanship, Reining, Western Performance and so much more! She is a great all-around mule and excels in any activity we challenge her to do. We have always loved the Horseshoe Hill lineage and used this Jack in our breeding program before he passed, so having Lucy here at GSMC has been a very welcome addition.
